According to SIGNS4RETAIL president Stephen Lenhart, "Successful furniture retailers in today’s struggling business environment are looking for effective, yet affordable, ways to advertise and generate new business. According to Lenhart, traditional advertising methods like TV, radio, newspaper ads/inserts and direct mail is effective, but expensive. "Signs are by far the best return on your advertising investment," Lenhart advises. "Thousands of cars drive by the average furniture store every day. With a single $39 window sign, dealers can effectively advertise their special products and pricing to literally hundreds of thousands of customers every month.
In addition to the new Window Signs, SIGNS4RETAIL also stocks WindBlade Pole Banners, giant Outdoor Banners and low-cost Pennants – all designed with home furnishings–specific messages to increase furniture store traffic. Custom signs can be ordered for shipment within 48 hours.

Leading Home Furnishings industry sign manufacturer, SIGNS4RETAIL, announced that it has added a new line of attention-getting, stock WindBlade pole banners with furniture specific messages.
According to SIGNS4RETAIL president Stephen Lenhart, "Furniture dealers have long recognized the tremendous increase in store traffic that can be generated from cost-effective signage. Unfortunately many furniture stores often have no place to conveniently hang large outdoor signs. WindBlade pole banners solve that problem."
The 17 foot tall pole banners are designed to stand alone by the side of the road and draw instant attention by staying open in even the slightest wind because of their special bow-head shape. Lenhart says that no difficult installation is necessary and no tools are required. "The vertically-designed 13 foot banners slide over a heavy-duty 17 foot fiberglass pole and stake and simply stick in the ground.” (Pole Kit available for purchase separately) Poles are rated for up to 75 MPH winds.
Available messages include: Furniture Sale, Storewide Furniture Clearance, Mattress Sale, Sofa Sale, Recliner Sale, Sale, No Interest 1 Full Year, 180 Days Same As Cash, Lowest prices in Town, We Meet or Beat All Prices, Grand Opening, Anniversary Sale and more. RTO Sign Maker Doubles WindBlade Line 10-14-09 RTO Online - The rent to own industry's trade website
"The WindBlades are huge, bold, inexpensive and can be installed anywhere quickly." Steve Lenhart, President, Signs4Retail
Leading RTO industry sign manufacturer, SIGNS4RETAIL, announces the doubling of its popular WindBlade pole-banner line. "The WindBlades are by far our most popular product," reports SIGNS4RETAIL President Stephen Lenhart. "RTO dealers nationwide call daily for new designs and new messages that will increase their business."
The WindBlades are so popular, because according to Lenhart, "At 13-16 feet, they're huge, bold, inexpensive…and can be installed anywhere quickly – they don't require a big open face on the side of a building, they just stick in the grass or stand in the parking lot."
The banners stand by the side of the road and stay open even without wind because of their newly-redesigned bow-head shape. No difficult installation is necessary – the vertical banners simply slide over SIGNS4RETAIL's new, heavy-duty, fiberglass pole which telescopes to 16feet tall (purchased separately-rated 75 mph winds-1-yr warranty). The pole simply sticks in the ground with an included spike attachment or can stand in a parking lot with an optional water-filled base.

"Window signs offer inexpensive exposure."
RTO dealers can choose from a new selection of attention-getting, plastic window signs.
Over the last two months, leading sign manufacturer, SIGNS4RETAIL, has been rapidly adding new types of attention-getting signage to its full-line of products for the Rent-to-Own industry. Now in addition to outdoor banners, pole banners, and pennant strings, RTO dealers can choose from a new selection of attention-getting, plastic window signs with RTO-specific messages like: Rent To Own, Lease Purchase, No Credit Checks, Low Monthly Rates, Quality Brand Names, Rent To Own Appliances, Rent To Own Computers, Rent To Own Furniture, First Week Free and more.
"We're introducing this new line of stock RTO window signs because, while many RTO stores are not free-standing locations and therefore often not able to hang large outdoor banners, all RTO stores have large windows and all owners recognize the enormous exposure inexpensive window signs provide," says SIGNS4RETAIL president Stephen Lenhart.
According to Lenhart, until now most RTO dealers were forced to purchase expensive custom signs from local sign shops, hang paper signs which tear easily and fade fast or have their front glass painted which typically presents an unprofessional image. SIGNS4RETAIL plastic windows signs, however, won't rip or fade like cheap paper signs and RTO-specific messages are now available at inexpensive stock sign prices as low as $39 each. Digitally-printed with bright, vivid, UV-protected, fade-resistant colors on shiny 8-mil non-rip plastic, SIGNS4RETAIL's new window signs create a professional appearance and look fabulous year after year. Buy'em once and the non-fade inks last a lifetime hanging permanently in windows and the non-rip plastic won't rip even if you take the signs down, roll them up and re-hang them often.

RTO Banner Company Launches Quick Ship Program 06-29-09 RTO Online - The rent to own industry's trade website
"Custom signs are an inexpensive way to make your RTO's unique services and products known"
SIGNS4RETAIL recently announced the debut of the company's new website, www.signs4retail.com.
SIGNS4RETAIL announced a new easy-order, quick-ship custom rent-to-own banner program. "Rent-to-own is a customer service industry, and savvy rent-to-own dealers know it's their special products and services that give them the edge over the competition," says Stephen Lenhart, President of SIGNS4RETAIL.
"Do you give the first week's rent free, offer a $5 referral reward, stock MSI's newest mini-notebook and Nintendo Wii's or offer short-term big-screen specials for the SuperBowl? Custom signs are an inexpensive way to make your unique services and products known," Lenhart continues.
In the past, RTO dealers have been forced to work with small and expensive local sign shops. Now SIGNS4RETAIL's 50,000 sq.ft. manufacturing plant, offers new high-speed, large-format digital printing technology at affordable custom prices. Dealers simply call SIGNS4RETAIL with the banner size, colors and custom message. SIGNS4RETAIL does all the work designing the banner for maximum visibility and ships usually within 48 hours.
Lenhart offers dealers these common sense custom banner tips:
1. Keep the message short. Whatever size banner you hang, Lenhart advises to keep the text under 5 words. The shorter the message, the bigger the letters and the easier for customers to read from far distances. Note: a banner is not the place to worry about posting legal restrictions or disclaimers.
2. Choose bold fonts for maximum visibility. "Artsy fonts often used by graphic designers to create a brand in printed direct mail pieces, point-of-purchase displays and on price tags, don't necessarily generate results on banners being read by customers driving by at high speeds," says Lenhart. He advises using big, bold, non-seriph fonts like Arial Black, Franklin Gothic Heavy, Impact Bold and Cooper Black.
3. Use bright, high-contrast colors for maximum impact. Whatever your store colors, Lenhart suggests you may have to add or change some colors on banners for greater impact. For example, if your colors are blue and white, put blue and white letters on a yellow background .He recommends using primary, high-contrast colors and the following color combinations in order starting with the highest visibility: black and yellow; black and fluorescent pink or orange; blue and yellow; purple or green and yellow; red and white; red and yellow.
4. Choose the right banner type for the location. Traditional banners hang easily on buildings, awnings, between poles, inside the store from high ceilings and on the sides of trucks. If the banner needs to go out by street where these things to hang from may not be available, however, Lenhart recommends a pole banner, (often called a Feather Dancer) that easily attaches to a stake in the ground.
5. Hang your banner tight (but not too tight) for long life. No banner is meant to last forever. But for long life, whether hanging your banner against your store, against a truck or out by the road, make sure the banner is tightly secured and most importantly does not flap in the wind. The banner will last years if bolted through each metal grommet to a hard substrate. If that's not possible, Lenhart suggests that bungi-cords attached to each grommet stretch in the wind and are better than rope.
6. Hang pennants for low-cost excitement. When hung properly, banners are static. Pennants, however, are designed specifically to blow in the wind and create a festive purchasing mood. According to Lenhart, pennants are super inexpensive and add tremendous attention-getting power to your banner investment.
